Hi,

Flying out next week to Santorini from Manchester.

Has anyone any opinions on the parking options at the airport? There is a whole host of options ranging from off airport parking, long stay, multi story and meet and greet options.

Some costing in excess of £70.

Thanks

Booked into Jetparks 2 as I'm flying out on Monday from T2 under £30.00 for the week.

I used to use their meet and greet valet service but it was twice the price and whilst convenient I don't want anyone else driving my car to a secure compound.

How far are those from the terminals realistically? We'll be arriving about 5am so are buses always running to and from?

Unsure what time the buses run from in the morning but they are 5 minutes away from the terminal and usually run every 15 minutes, so if I was you go for the Meet and Greet at T2. Its more expensive but 30 secs walk and they hold onto the keys for you

I always go for either meet and greet or the on-site long stay.

Meet and greet is good but can be expensive. Last time I used it they took my car to the on-site T2 long stay car park.

I like the on-site long stay as it's close enough to just walk to the terminal so not being reliant on buses.

Book the jet parks, drop whoever you are travelling with off at the terminal with baggage, go let them check in while you go park the car
Saves having to get the bus with a number of suitcases plus saves you from having to queue (which if arriving at 5am, check in will be very busy)
The buses take 5-10 minutes and are quite frequent

The last few times I've flown from Manchester T1 or T2 I've used the multi-storey. Yes it's slightly more expensive, but not alarmingly so if booked in advance. The advantages are no-one else drives your car, you keep the keys, it's entirely under cover so no need to dig your car out in winter and likewise a few yards to the lift straight to departures without being exposed to the elements while waiting for a bus.
