Hello
Was wondering if someone can clarify something please.

My wife, daughter and son are travelling to Dubai just before xmas.
I just noticed when completing the API info that my daughters passport is due to expire in may 2017 (22nd to be precise)
they are due to return from Dubai on the 24th December

I understand passports need to be valid for 6 months on return - hers will only be 5 months.
I've spoken to BA who have stated it is fine and they have no problems with this -, they said if I need further reassurance I should contact the UAE embassy.

I've tried contacting them but am getting no response at all.
Does anyone have any experience of this - should I get her passport renewed or go wit what BA have advised ?

Anyone ?

Thanks

Itll be fine, my friend has just come back with his child with only 4 months left on his childs passport.

There's a quote somewhere on UAE's website to say something along the lines of 3months is fine if you are not travelling through Abu Dhabi.

Hmm interesting.
I'll take a look at the link thanks.

It's different to the info I got direct from the embassy yesterday though.
They stated that it would be a problem to have less than 6 months on the passport.
