Your situation sounds similar to mine. Except 2 kids daughter 16 & son 13. We've be going to Moon Palace in Mexico great hotel and food. Must state this place is huge so would recommend staying at the Grand section as it's very peaceful. You can only book this from the UK with Thomas Cook or an independent travel agent. If you fancy it any questions just ask.

did you book everything seperately?  been to both vegas and new york but would like to go back to both, this would seem like the perfect plan!

No mate, we found the holiday on the Virgin holidays website and then flight stopped off for for 2 hours on the way back at JFK. I got the wife to phone up and ask how much extra it would cost to get a different flight back from JFK to the UK (Manchester) and was told we could adjust it by 14 days at no extra charge. So we booked the Vegas holiday as normal on the phone and just asked for the 2nd part of the return journey to be 3 days later. We then had to book our own accommodation for New York, which is more than easy enough with booking.com etc.

I've just had a quick look for you but can't see any cheap Vegas holidays at the moment and none that stop off on the way back. Maybe we got our holiday so cheap is because the return flight had a stop off. I guess for once in my life I was in the right place at the right time!

Thanks very much, thats good information to know.  ive not seen many flights that stop on the way back from vegas but will keep an eye out as that could work for us.

Found Mauritius a little windy when we went (October time). Scorching sun but a cool breeze = feel chilly whilst burning to hell.
