We went last May and I can't emphasise enough about getting to the colleseum and Vatican early
Day 1 we arrived at the colleseum at 8;55 with our roma pass and was inside within 5 minutes. When we left about 11, the queues were huge.
Day 2 we arrived at the Vatican with our prebooked voucher (exchange for a ticket once inside) at 8;45. Go to the right hand queue and we were inside within 10 minutes and we had the sistine Chapel to ourselves for a few minutes which was amazing
We used our other free entry roma pass for castle d'angelo which w very interesting with great views
Dont bother with the Spanish steps as really isn't anything special
If colleseum is free, then why did you buy tickets? |
