Sunbed race!

Been looking around for a holiday next summer in Spain, now its been a few years since I last stayed in a Spanish hotel so while research came across these videos of sunbed races. Can recall having to put towels down (was a kid back than) with my parents but don't remember it being this bad. Whats everyones experiences with this?

WTF. I'd just throw off any towel not being used, unless they're in the pool. But wouldn't go there if you paid me

Never seen anything that bad but it can be a pain.

Many places claim not to allow reserving however do almost nothing to stop it.

I've found a generous tip to the guy that sorts the beach towels on day 1 means on later days they've already reserved my preferred bed for me before I've even made it down to breakfast. If you can't beat them, join them

Anyway that looks awful. Just rent a villa instead. Problem = solved.

All that rush to sit around a crappy pool with a bunch of horrible people in too close proximity to each other.

How that's anyones idea of a holiday is beyond me.
