Don't have an answer, but, if spirits is important for the flight experience I have an idea. Buy a pack of miniatures once you're past security at the departure airport. Extract the little bottles, bin the packaging.
Technically its against airline rules to consume on board, but the thing with miniatures is they are stealthy - easy to hide, no messing with pouring out measures and re-capping and potential spilling, they fit within your hand during use. Just hide them in whatever you use for your seat side handy bag ( bum bag, purse, satchel, plastic bag, whatever ). Just keep an eye for stewards. Hey it'll be fun, like being on a school trip !
Even assuming they will serve you spirits, nowadays in economy its going to be very limited and probably tied to meal time. Buy your own and you have what you want, when you want and in much greater quantity.
In the unlikely event you are grassed up by a busybody neighbour, just say you didn't know. I can't imagine actual reprecussions unless your discovery has been triggered by some kind of drink driven misbehaviour. Do not worry. |
