Trip to Dubai.

Of to Dubai on Thursday for 10 days. Got 4 days in the Shangri La main area of Dubai
then we go out side of the main area to stay at the Rixos Bab at Bahr for 6 nights.

Any places I should go out of my way to visit?

Booked an outside table at Bice Mare Souk Al Bahar so wife can see the fountains but any other advice please?

Four points by sheraton on sheikh zayed road has an awesome rooftop bar for views - just walk through the lobby and hit the lift to level 43... obviously not if you like heights.

Sounds like the first time I went to Vegas.
Planned on eating at an outside table overlooking the strip.

Found myself walking as fast as possible through the oven like heat & diving for the tranquility of the air conditioned inside restaurant lol

Done both Vegas and Dubai during July. Both insanely hot but Dubai was mental Only place I've ever been where the swimming pools are actually cooled.

Mate it's crazy hot! Stay round the pool and inside hotel, shopping centres and your ok. Just getting between them thats the killer. Great city though if you don't start to scratch the surface.

The only place I've been where a dip in the sea did not cool me down. The phase is often misused but it literally as warm as bathwater.

Hi we're looking at going at the end of may this year, How did you get on? and any recommendations of things to do / places to visit and anything you would suggest avoiding?
