Is he a  Blue Belt training at Combat Sports Academy?
A quick Google search of Jon Jarvis BJJ brought that up

Could well be, as I say I don't know him that well. He was in the Fight Club and I met him at the Couture seminar at UFC 120.

Unfortunately, I don't do martial arts anymore, what with the times restraints of working shifts and having three young kids.

I got interested when my friend was going for his 1st dan in tae kwon do. I used to train in Muay Thai and loved it, started when I was in my teens. Also was learning the Wai Kru dance. Muay Thai remains very popular in Australia where I first started. I also wouldn't have minded learning something less mainstream, perhaps another similar style such as Bando or Lethwei.

Spent a good few years doing kung fu in my twenties.  Had a lot of private lessons, trained in a lot of classes.  It all felt like a waste of time.

Flirted with judo briefly but was in the worst club that has ever existed ever.

Found Muay Thai November 2011 and have trained three times a week there ever since.
