I must say I'm inclined to agree. His behaviour during the fight, and his attitude and demeanour during the post fight conference made him seem like a really cocky little sod. Starting to believe his own hype.

Ah ok, I never watch the post fight press conferences. I did think that doing the Ali shuffle was a little disrespectful to BJ but no more so than Nate Diaz giving the finger to Bendo mid fight

Nate doing that to a guy who is dominating him as a bit of mindgames/defiance is a far cry from Rory showboating against a legend who he is completely outclassing.

Rory got asked about the showboating and said very quickly 'it wasn't showboating, it's martial arts.'

Doing the Ali Shuffle isn't martial arts, you bellend.

People said the same thing about Ali when he first started doing it and he was very much a "love him or hate him" figure in boxing. I have no issue with fighters doing this, its entertaining. Of course MacDonald would have looked a bit beter had he followed up the shuffle with a one two KO combination.

I agree, but Diaz has always and probably always will be a disrespectful punk.  He doesn't do it out of pride or ego, it's just the way he is.

McDonald has gone in a very short time from being a quiet respectful young guy, to an arrogant sod.  The way he fought, the way he spoke in the conference and even the way he dresses and carries himself reeks of a guy who has a swollen ego.
