I would say if it comes out to be true. 2years in jail? Really for hitting a guy? Seems excessive but ok whatever. I don't like the guy anyway. Think what he did after the Koscheck fight was a disgrace.

Already though he's denied the claims of being arrested over this. Stories have popped up every where saying its false.

Here's a possibly touchy subject but what are people's thoughts on Women's MMA?

Personally I'm a fan. After watching the first 3 Invicta FC events I've found a lot of the women to be fantastic fighters and they have the potential to make a mark in the UFC if Dana gives them half a chance after Rousey eventually loses.

If you read back, I've been a firm supporter of the much maligned topic of both women fighters and the mens flyweight division.

If they have the talent I don't care what size or sex they are.

Didn't see the first 2 Invicta cards hut I watched all of the 3rd one online and it was excellent. The talent pool is growing fast.

Dana White had confirmed that Strikeforce is definitely closing down after the January show. Also said that Melendez will probably get an immediate title shot. Possible bad news for Pettis or Cerrone there...

I read that somewhere too. Think it's kinda justified given Melendez's recent performances and that half of these guys might as well be UFC fighters already.

It is bad news for Pettis and Cerrone but, and I say this a a massive Cowboy fan, I don't think the UFC will have been willing to make a match between Hendo and Cowboy given that it happened twice in WEC and it was the same outcome both times.

I'm not a fan of women's MMA but I am a fan of Ronda
I'd likely fastforward through any Womens MMA fights that didnt have Ronda armbaring her way to victory in them, much the same way as I do with most of the 125lb mens division.

Have you actually seen those fights? Ok, the rematch was a bit of an anti climax, but the first was a classic, and I'm sure the UFC would welcome a repeat.

Yeah the first was a fantastic fight!! I didn't see them till I'd found the guys in the UFC unfortunately I had no idea about the WEC. Or should I say. I never really gave it a chance.

Imagine your right they probably would welcome the 3rd fight. I'd certainly be happy with it. And I suppose they set up Tito/Shamrock 3 times with the same result every time. So here's hoping!!

Check out the sports channels on Sky, extreme sports or one of those ones, 419 I think, have still been airing old WEC events lately. Some amazing fights to be seen.
