Apologies for that, I forgot especially as I have already booked Sunday for a stay at home day. Boring old F1 followed by the game.

There is everything to play for all the Celtic nations matches, a win for Ireland and a game against Argentina, bet you'll take that any day of the month. Think Wales would rather face Scotland. Could find a Wales v Ireland for the final.....................or 3rd place.

too right....especially as I have two tickets for that quarter final !! Although Argentina are no mugs, if given the choice of them or the AB, who we've never beaten then you go Argentina every time !! Then again, I'd take playing Wales in the final every time as well....at least we'd know its a 50/50 game !

Scotland.... Scotland.....

Cracking game from both sides. One of the best of the tournament in my mind. Close right to the end.
Great to make the quarters but we'll be facing The Aussies or Wales in the next round so it was fun while it lasted.

13 V 15 and on their own line .. Aussie defence was immense .. that will be a huge psychological blow to the Welsh.

Well done Australia. Immense defence. We should have got something from that but can't complain, we qualified from the group of death [emoji12]

Two great games to watch today. Missed the first half hour of the Scotland game but thorougly enjoyed the rest of it, down to the wire stuff.

As for Wales, gripping tense and another highly physical battle. The 13 man Aussie defence for I think a full 9 minutes was awesome and they ran out deserving winners. By far the biggest battle the Australians have been in so far this world cup. Never mind bring on the Springboks, at least one more Welsh game to give me a heart attack.

Will I watch the England swansong? Meh! Maybe.

Scotland will need a miracle against the Aussies.

Going to miss the first half of Ireland v France, so will have to record it. Going to watch the Avro Vulcan flypast.

As immense as the Aussie defense was, Wales lacked a bit of 'cuteness'. Very little variation in their play cost them that game.

Agree and think that was down to desperation rather than not being able. With the Aussies playing with 13 men we should've just kept going through the phases but we were far too eager to try and smash our way through them, as if time were running out. Thought Cuthbert was poor too.

Positives, we didn't concede and tries and aside from the cutting edge, gave a good account of ourselves. Looking forward to Springboks game though it's Wedding Anniversary so will probably end up missing it.
