Stefan nails it for me. F1 has disappeared up it's own backside with the "engineering porn" that the drivers cannot understand nor operate alone. It's hard to see those controlling the sport rowing back from this situation because they seem to get off more on the fact it has the most advanced engineering than being the series with the best drivers and best racing.
If F1 doesn't get it's act in order they'll find that Russian tractor racing on Youtube offers more excitement than the average F1 race. |
