Not watching any of it and find it obscene what the BBC has done to non-olympics watchers.

There is nothing for us on any of the usual BBC stations nor even on the additional red button channels; maybe I should claim a rebate on my licence?

Here is a handy tip if you enjoy the weightlifting.

Go to International Weightlifting Federation and scroll down to the event you are watching and click on 'live scoreboard' in the 'status' column and you will get a mirror of the main scoreboard on your computer screen. This turns out to be quite handy because you can see who will be called next and what weight they will lift. But more to the point, when they move their weight to put someone else up you can see that too.

To be honest I haven't watched much of this Olympics so far, maybe a total combined viewing time of 2 or 3 hrs.

They are losing their appeal for me, most sports now are rotten to the core with doping, its hard to view them without always thinking "I bet they are taking drugs".

Got a question for you fans out there, do you honestly think your nations athletes are clean?

I do not think anyone can really answer that .. people may well be looking at how well team GB are now doing compared to pre Sydney games .. quite simply lottery funding has made a massive difference .. before that athletes were on their Jack .. now they are well funded and we are reaping the rewards .

Of course focused (on sports with lots of 'low hanging fruit') lottery funding (whether for good or ill in terms of general participation) has helped but I think it'd be naive to completely rule out/ignore the possibility of any Brit doping as a lot of our media do.   In 2012 we beat a far larger nation in Russia that also had a state-sanctioned doping programme can we be absolutely sure that good funding and 'marginal gains' delivered that sort of result.

Team Sky hire someone like Dr Leinders and use TUEs like they are going out of fashion and very little gets said/scrutinised.  Look at how the sainted Seb Coe was treated after London until it became obvious how rotten the IAAF was/is.  Armitstead got a very easy ride (just look at that sob story powder puff interview on the BBC) and equally UKAD haven't really been scrutinised over the affair.

Even when a Brit tests positive there's almost always a reason other than cheating e.g. dodgy supplements all the sort of excuses that would get short shrift if they were offered by someone who didn't have a British passport.

Of course as you say no one can really know one way or the other and maybe the best thing to do is to 'suspend disbelief' whilst watching/enjoying the sports but not to completely 'drink the kool-aid'.

I say all this as someone who always takes 2 weeks off work to watch the Olympics!

Didn't really watch any for the first week or so but have watched a few hours each day since Saturday.

GB cycling team is all conquering at the moment.

Another gold (or 2 or 3) looks odds on again tonight.

Laura Trott seems to be from another world.  She's a machine

I knew a GB coach from the early 90's who said most athletes were on PED's. I've always assumed that they all are and therefore its a level playing field

Wow nail biting stuff for the cycling final right now, a second false start as the riders overlap the pacer bike.
