I haven't seen much of Ricky Gervais in films, sure, I've glanced at Extra's TV series and peeked at his minor role in Night at the Museum. But, i'm now convinced that i'll be faithful to Ricky's comedic charms once again, thanks to Ghost Town. Yes, its a ghost story, but not a horror one, but a full out comedy flick. Its laugh out loud from start to finish. One clever line after another brings in Ricky's best acting skills throughout the film. Greg Kinear also did a fun and uplifting acting job, bringing in a little comedy and drama in his character. Tea Leoni also brings in a couple of laughs, simply by bringing up new elements and subject matters for Ricky to play on. The acting is fun and stays fun throughout. The problem I had with the film is the actual concept, yes, its interesting and fun, but, other then that, it wasn't well planned out. Ricky's character keeps talking to the dead, and no one around him seems to notice, sure, there are some moments where they show some pedestrians getting weirded out, but not much at all. And yes, they are dead people, but, there not like the sixth sense, there just plain. I really like the sneezing gag throughout the film, kinda makes you wonder. Overall, it was still a fun movie to watch, roll over and laugh.

score 7/10
