I just went for a run with just the Band, and no Garmin.(mainly because the Garmin was taking ages to get a gps lock, whereas the band was almost instant).
I used Unband and exported the gpx file and uploaded it to Strava. It was hassle free and it works. The elevation was 3ft different to what my Garmin came up with when I ran the same route a few weeks ago and the heart rate appears to be where I would expect it to be for me, so it all seems pretty accurate to me.
The band displays time, calories burnt, heart rate, distance and current pace whilst running. The only thing that it is missing for me is the overall average pace, which is useful if you are trying to improve your pace. |
