Sorry if this is old news. I naively didn't think that Apple would price match but went shopping in Birmingham yesterday for an Apple Watch for Mrs W and found that Curry's PC World are offering significant discounts on Apple Watches:

The only difference I could see between this and the Apple offering appeared to be a slightly long winded way of returning under warranty and, significantly, they wouldn't entertain any kind of return or exchange if the box had been opened. This was a deal breaker for me because I didn't know how Mrs W would react to being given an Apple Watch (as a surprise present) or would want a different model.
Popped round the corner to Apple and they matched the price without hesitation. Result - £70 off the 38mm S/S Apple Watch with Milanese strap (Mrs W was delighted BTW). |
