I have ordered a Garmin Vivoactive o replace my Apple watch, it looks smart and seems to do a lot more.

Hi bud had this for a few days instead of the Apple Watch.... So far so good a few slight issues like logging me swimming for 6 mins while now I was cooking..

Not out for a couple of weeks but looks good so far. Do you not have to start an activity? Can you turn the auto function off?

Keep getting told this... Got mine start of week.. You can start activity but there is also moveIq which kinda guesses what you are doing. I was warming up in the cross trainer so didn't start activity and it guessed I was doing this but you can't select cross trainer from activity list? I have brought this up with garmin. Move iq can be turned off.
