Help out an idiot - Nikon Lens

I have a Nikon D3200 which, im sure you all know, has a standard Nikon AF lens fitment. I have recently acquired a Nikon 18.5mm F1.8 lens, however it is a Nikon 1 mount lens.

Can anybody point me in the direction of what adapter I would need to make it fit/work?

I think that you are out of luck as it's physically impossible to have a nikon 1 to fx/dx adapter due to the flange to sensor requirements and the fact that the n1 series cx sensor size is a lot smaller Than the d3200 dx sensor size...

It's a long time since I used Nikon, but found this when I searched, not sure if it's what you want & it's an arm & a leg to buy.

That works the other way - fx/dx lens on n1/cx camera body....

Can you take it back? That's your best bet if you can, otherwise you'll have to sell it at a loss I'm afraid.

Thanks for the input guys. thankfully i didn't buy it new and didn't pay a fortune for it. i kinda took a punt, and missed by the looks of it...............so anyone want to buy a Nikon 1 mount lens!!!!
