My Gear S3 Frontier Review

Hey guys,

Just did a quick review of the new gear s3 frontier if anybody is looking for some info just check the video.

As I said in other thread I can't  decide if I should go for gear s3 or Huawei W1. Huawei W1 is £170 and android watch. I think it looks nicer and half the price but not sure if it's better or not.

No doubt the Huawei watch looks great but the lack of ambient light sensor is a big no no. Gear S3 Frontier looks great too and you can change the strap to make it look even nicer.

What about the fact that Samsung is Tizan and other is android does it have pros and cons i.e. not as many apps on gear s3 I presume you can say to your watch play oasis or whoever and it will play via your phone while you can reply to what's app and texts via voice or write a message?
Why is lack of ambient big no no sorry don't know that much about the watches.

Yes you are right it plays music on your phone but you could reply to msgs from your watch and you can make and receive calls.

Ambient light sensor is when you go outside the phone screen gets brighter so you could see it but when indoor it automatically reduces brightness to match the light so it doesnt hurt your eyes, phones do it automatically so we never notice it. Same goes with the watches, S3 does it automatically but Hwawei doesnt havent that sensor so you have to change brightness manually and it becomes very annoying after a few days.

I don't think the ambient light sensor would annoy me too much. Can you control music via Spotify with the Huawei watch and answer to what's app and texts via writing a message and speaking to it do you know?
I like both just nearly £200 price difference. I hear people complaining about Tizan and the clicking from the rotating dial while Huawei scratches easily and not sure if google software is better or not though seems most reviewers prefer it.
