Is The Gear S Worth Buying Nowadays.

I am considering buying a smart watch and like the look of the curved display of the Gear S but i am conscious that it is a few years old now and may not have the features of the new S3, what has also attracted me to the Gear S is that the display looks to be a nice size and my eyesight is not what it could be these days so it looks easier to read than the more traditional shape of the S3.

Any input or advice will be most welcome

I was looking into this watch myself......until I actually saw it in person on someone. It's a Frankenstein watch that looks ridiculous. Then again you might like the bracelet sized watch so it would be a good buy. All features between this and the S3 do seem to be pretty much the same so I would say just go with the design that suits you.

Thank you for your input, totally agree as i decided to go with the S3 and even better still got it off Amazon for £249, now my wife wants one

Didn't realise i had LOL, no thanks she want the S3 Classic so if you know anywhere who has them at a good price it would help my bank account

On Ebay I see new ones for £280 and refurb ones for £220, none on the AVForum classifieds though. These prices seem consistent throughout other websites I've checked too. Unless she can get one as part of her mobile phone contract?
