Fitbit Blaze connection issue

I’m wondering if anyone with the Fitbit Blaze has had issues with connectivity and their iPhone?

My wife has one and she said although the watch records steps, heartbeat etc, it loses connectivity to the gps on the phone so she can’t track her runs

Has anyone else had the issue as Fitbit aren’t being very helpful

It works sometimes, usually at the start of a run and at some point loses connection.

I’ve been on the Fitbit community and it seems to be common, and after sending a Fitbit a print screen of all of the posts they are now saying they are aware of it and working on a solution. Only problem is posts were going as far back as February
