You get a sapphire face which is more scratch resistant, and a body that looks more expensive and matches professional/formal attire better (although the body will show micro abrasions more readily). The more expensive straps/bands Apple makes like the Link and Milanese Loop look better with it as well since they're the same material/colour. Whether this is worth the extra money is up to you. Same with the ceremic. It's really an aesthetic choice more than anything, although obviously you can only get steel ones with the LTE models which have the red crown, which isn't to everyone's taste either.

Most of the time at my job I can wear my own clothes and I usually live in active wear when I'm not at work as I'm always at the gym, doing yoga or just lounging around, so the aluminium Sport was fine for my needs - although you can get nice looking aero-grade aluminium link straps like the Juuk one if you want to make it look snazzier.

Here you go https://www.juukdesign.com - the Ligero is the only aluminium one they do, the rest are steel.

At $119 they are Apple-esque prices!

My cellular had been worn from 7am Sun morning and had a short walk with the GPS, I’ve cycled 2 hours without my phone so using 4G on it and had it on aeroplane mode for 6 hours. It was around 35% at midnight and I am now at 13% so has lasted easily 24 hours. The battery life usually gets a little bit better once it’s gone through a few cycles so I’m happy with it. [emoji4]

As a daily watch used for work/play etc I’m wondering if the SS option might not be the best version to go for. I’m doing fell running at the minute and want to wear this when I’m out so maybe one of the Nike versions will suit my needs better? Still undecided...

Im enjoying my apple watch series 3 so far, I did have the original apple watch, but sold it as I found it annoying having to take out my iphone when running so this is just what I need.

There are a few apps I wish would get standalone watch support such as whats app. facebook, surprised they aren't supported rather than just mirroring the iphone.

I’m sending mine back to EE as £25/month is too much as I want the iPhone x and already paying 2 shared lines and an iPad Pro line.
Not sure which to buy as the cellular is out of stock anyway.
