Fitbit charge 2, compatibility and numbness ?

Wife bought me a charge 2 last week, it's not very compatible with my Huwaei P Smart phone, poor synching and no notifications etc.

For the last 3 mornings I've woken up with severely numb two smallest fingers which goes up my arm a little way, a bit concerning having had a mini stroke 9 weeks ago. Anyway I googled and found many others have numbness, it was said the HR monitor could be the cause but I stopped wearing it yesterday morning and no numbness this morning.

Anyone else experience this ?.
