Apple Watch Series 4

Does the AW4 stainless steel version still have a sapphire crystal for the display? Can't see any mention of it anywhere. As there was no Edition version shown I'm thinking of going back to a SS after having Nike  versions for series 2 and 3

Edit: The Apple website does mention sapphire crystal for the display but only when you go to the pricing page for the AW4

Went for a SS this time, and a silver iPhone Xs to match (all previous AW I’ve owned have been black and all iPhones from the 4 onwards have been predominantly black (had a white 3GS and obviously the original was mainly silver in colour).

Thought it was time to change things up.
Ordered the watch from Very just in case I can’t get hold of one through JL when they go up for sale on 21st.

First Apple Watch I won’t be buying on release day because of that.  Kind of erks to pay all that and not have some of the extra functionality, bigger display looks good but will wait until they clear the ECG etc

Same. Not enough changes for me to ditch my 3 yet.  Would love the extra screen though but if the extra features such as ECG doesn't arrive for ages I may just wait for the 5

Extra screen was enough for me. Just deciding whether I want to switch to EE or Vodaphone from O2 now :/

Bigger screen, all S4 now come with 16GB memory (instead of 8GB on S3), 50% more audio volume, faster processor, Bluetooth 5 (Up from 4.2 on S3), Haptic feedback on Digital crown etc, I'd say it's a worthwhile upgrade.

Not for me. The only thing I would actually notice in daily use would be the screen. If I didn’t have an S3 I’d probably bite.

S3 already tracks flights climbed and I use the Autosleep app to track sleep.
