Kids smart watch/step counter

8 year old currently looking for a step counter/smart watch type thing.

Don’t want to jump in head first with an £80 Fitbit but also don’t want a £5 piece of junk on eBay.

Any middle ground suggestions please? It’s more a tester to see if she uses it prior to buying a more expensive model.
