i know the age of the thread, but in case you are still looking, i switched over to a fenix 5 plus sapphire at xmas. the sapphire version has the toughened screen, more resilent to scratches. if youa re using for purpose then it's likely to get banged around a bit, i know mine will get knocked off the walls in the pool a bit so i went for the toughened glass. i also think the darker sapphire version looks a lot better.

so far i love it, came from a 920xt so this is a lot more refined, and the new features, especially spotify, are super
