By now or wait for new Galaxy watch?

Really fancy buying the Samsung watch but my girlfriend has just put a spanner in the works. She said what's the point in paying £300 now on the watch when the new one will likely be out this summer.

Will the new watch be that price on release and is there any news on the new watch? Thanks.

The S3 came out late 2016. I started waiting in 2017 not wanting the now getting old s3 and then the the gear sport came late 2017. I didn't want that so had to then wait for the Galaxy watch.

Given the GW and the new Active have only recently arrived, do you think a replacement for the galaxy watch will come out later this year? I haven't heard anything.

Yes I should imagine there will be a replacement in the late summer.
