Xiaomi Miband

Hi Guys,
I recently bought two Xiami MiBands4 when travelling in China. I am struggling a lot to change the display language to English. In Xiaomi MiBand app it works just fine. Everything works in English, but the wristband works only in Chinese. The wrist bands are connected to Iphone SE and Iphone8  through 2 different gmail acocunts. I thought they may be incompatible with iOS, so I tried to do it through Android (Samsung s7) and I managed to update one of the bands. Sadly, it turned out that after a few hours the wrist band went back to normal and it is all in Chinese again and now it could not connect to Samsung either. Could you give me some advice on how to deal with this conundrum?

If you are using your phone in UK, or an English speaking country, the Mifit app should automatically detect your English phone settings once you enable bluetooth communication between phone and Miband; do not try to pair using the settings interface of your phone - you have to do this from within the Mifit app running on the phone.
