I was going to include this, but decided it may confuse people.
I really wanted this thread to be for the most basic of requirements to improve the photos of people new to the hobby.
I also thought of touching on histograms, but again these too can confuse people and is better for lesson 3 (if there is to be one).
Lesson/tips 2 I will touch on ISO, shutter speeds and apertures to get creative in your photos. This can also be very confusing not only to understand, but to explain in an easy to follow way. I will also explain exif data too, and how to view it easily.
Believe it or not, this tutorial took me hours to write as i had to find the photos that would fit and also word it correctly.
I have noticed a few mistakes and appologise for them.
I thank Senu for making it sticky, and for all the thanks and positive feedback as that has made it worth while for me.
I work 12 hour shifts (4 on 4 off), and its my first day back today, so may not get chance to write tips 2 until Wed.
That means that people will have a few days to practice what i have wrote so far and POST THEIR PICTURES for us all to see. |
