I have bought a tablet this year as I travel back and forth to London for treatment.  I have had an update yesterday (13-6-2016) - Galaxy Tab A - model SM-T550 - present update version - T550XXU1BPE1/T550BTU1BPE2/
I have had videos flashing blue sections along with spreaker stopping after 4mins.  I have Netflix and Gaiam TV which I pay for having problems with this blue flashing and stopping every so often.  I tried to get a contact on the Samsung site and it was like walking through treacle.  Its an appalling site to navigate.  My tablet was not easy to find and when I went to the email section it just threw me out as it couldn't find my model or anything helpful.  When I did get to talk to an online person, quite frankly they were usless.  They said until its resolved there is nothing anyone can do with it. SO who resolves it I asked?  The reply was, 'It will or should fix itself in a few days.  That is all we can say.'

Whoa that is not a helpful company.  I am angry and have no idea where to go with this.

So can anyone help me here?  How can I stop these problems?  Or simply how can I take away the update and go back to the older version so as I can at least listen to my favourite radio and man Jimmy Church - Fade to Black.  And watch the Netflix and Gaia TV in bed tonight?

Thanks for reading hope you can help guys, I really do.

I don't think you can undo a update, have you tried a factory reset.

I have seen that, but it takes everything out from what I can see.  So that is a frightening choice.  I get muddled easy as I can easily misread it as I live on vast amounts of morphine.  But it may be my last resort
Thank you for taking the time to helping me

It's the first thing they normally ask, "have you done a factory restore", it means then that nothing has been added from leaving factory as such, afraid it's what's I'd try.

Don't know the specific tablet, but is there not a backup program on it? e.g. Like iCloud or something?

If not there will be an Android program/app to, or even desktop companion app to backup.

Take screenshots of your settings, backup photos, important stuff separate though.

Everything can be put back, apps and programs will be available, settings restored separate, a big pain I agree but only way to "prove" to Samsung it's their update not you!..

Then once factory restore try Netflix before anything elsex then other one  etc.

Good luck!
