Kindle Fire & Google Play Store

Hi all,

I've ordered a Kindle Fire (bargain) and wondered if anyone has successfully loaded the Play Store. I've seen a few guides around but want to be sure it works as suggested. It also requires some files to be downloaded and installed and I just want to be confident they are safe to install.

I have been thinking the same since getting one last week.
I have been very impressed with it so far and there is not much I miss from Android apart from Play Music which I subscribe to.

Have read a few guides and seem simple enough but I think I am going to hold off and see if I really miss the Play Store and things like Chrome, Play Music and official youtube app.

If it's the standard 50quid fire then yes it's dead easy, or at least it was just before Christmas when I got my youngest one , Amazon do have a habit of blocking things with firmware updates so it'll be interesting to see what happens with the 2nd one I've just bought for my eldest.

Hangouts works perfectly too.
