Hello,

Help please.

Looking to buy my daughter (2 years old) a tablet for Christmas. Mainly to occupy her in the car.

Needs to be child friendly, and ideally we want to be able to transfer files (movies / programs) we have on hard drives onto the tablet, either by connecting to a PC and transferring files or via a memory card if that is possible.

We don't want a 3G connection etc, so that is why we want files on the tablet that can be viewed when no wifi connection.

Currently living in Australia, so would need to be available here ideally.

Thanks for any feedback

Ben.

Not sure if you have the Amazon Kindle Fire tablets in Australia or not? If you do I would go for one of those for a young child.

Just bought ASUS ZENPAD S Z580C for my daughter. It has parental control on board. High resolution will be good for young kids for less eye strains

Thanks for the replies. Could you confirm if you can drag and drop files from a PC onto the tablets you have both recommended?
