Can't update Hannspree Tablet

I'm trying to to run a system update from Android (the tablet is running 4.2 and prompted me that an update was available.

However, when I try and start the process it reports "HSP OTA Manager has stopped" and I can only tap OK to quit.

Does anyone know what I can try to resolve this problem or work around it? I did a Factory Reset from Settings but that didn't help.

I can't help but interested in any information as I am in the same situation.

I have a hannspree SN1AT74
OS Android 4.2.1

The device states that an update is available but the error "HSP OTA Manager has stopped" pings up and the update does not start.
