Samsung Tab 3 Tablet to wach films on ?

I have a fairly old Tab3 Player Which I want to watch a couple of my films when i go on holiday as i fly long distance I would like to take a couple rather than watch the planes films. Or even this one.When I put a film on a usb stick to watch on my tab 3 Do I have to copy my films on to tab 3  and if so and could  someone show me how to do this or  explain how do it t please. Or  do i have got to keep my usb drive connected to the TAB 3 which would be very hard to do as the only way to watch it is with the screen flat because as the micro socket is at the bottom of the tablet  Hope someone can help here.Thanks

Hi

The first cable is no good, the second one should be okay as it is a OTG cable.

So you can plug your usb stick into the cable and use an android browser to copy the film across to the tab or watch it from the usb stick connect via the OTG cable.

You can use esfile explorer from the android store for the file transfer.

Sorry looking online it looks like the tab 3 7" does not have OTG so check your tab is compatible before you buy.
