Mirroring Zenpad Z8 possible?

I have a Verizon issued cellular Zenpad Z8. I live in an extremely rural area with no Internet except for my Verizon cellular account . So I am attempting to find a way to mirror the tablet to the television to watch TV or movies. But I am struggling to find a way.

Unlike any other pad or laptop I've used before, there does not appear to be a way to just plug it into the TV to mirror the screen. I've also attempted plugging it into an android box and an Nvidia shield. No matter what I try I cannot mirror the screen.

Every option I find is wireless which creates a problem. It requires me to connect via hotspot which burns up my monthly hotspot data quickly. If I could find a way to mirror the screen via a wire or other tech Id be using my unlimited data.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you looked at a Chromecast?  It has a full screen mirroring option and they've added a guest wifi mode so it doesn't need a wireless router nor mobile data, it's not something I've tried myself though:
