The Kindle Fire HD Kids Edition tablets are fairly cheap (compared to an iPad) and come with a 2-year no quibble warranty and a big rubber case to protect from damage. If your child somehow does manage to break it, Amazon will replace it, no questions asked, apparently. My son has one and he loves it for his Lego YT videos. Downside is you're in the Amazon infrastructure so apps available may be limited, but there are... ahem... ways around this, allowing access to the full Google Play Store.
The tablet section in general has taken a real dive recently, other than Apple and Amazon, there's not a lot decent out there now, at reasonable cost. |
