Are these cheap tablets worth buying?

I am looking for a cheap tablet for my daughter to replace an ageing iPad for watching videos/playing games, and a friend is also looking for a cheap tablet for ebooks/audiobooks and general tablet use and i found these two almost identical ones from a seller on eBay:

4GB 10.1'' 4G 64GB Android 6.0 Tablet PC Octa-Core HD WIFI Bluetooth Dual SIM UK  | eBay

4GB 64GB Brand NEW 10.1” Android 6.0 Wi-Fi BT Dual SIM Tablet PC 2560*1600 UK  | eBay

Spec wise they seem great, but i don't know a great deal about Tablets so they could be meaningless.. 64GB Rom, 4GB Ram, 2K screen, Octa-Core MT6582 CPU. The Mali-400 GPU seems a bit old so don't know if it would struggle to push a 2K screen.

Setting aside the usual China tablet concerns such as no updates, no accessories, difficult returns etc, do these laptops set off any alarm bells, or would they be a decent purchase?
