Bending iPad?

Anyone had one?
My son got a new iPad pro for Christmas. He said there was a slight bend out of the box, I personally couldn't see it. Anyway I can definitely see it on one side now, it bends outwards from the centre on one side(opposite side to the camera)
Apple aren't interested, they say it isn't covered under warranty and has been caused by my son, no fault of the iPad.
Apparently if it had been the other side it would be a battery issue but this side it's the users fault!

Surely the time to take this up with Apple was a day or two after Christmas and not 3 months later.

As I've mentioned I didn't see there was a bend when I purchased it

I did read somewhere that Apple are aware of this issue as it’s caused by a manufacturing process? Might want to research that!

The best way is to simply get an extended warranty, with the clause on 'damage caused by user/accident'. Then you are fully covered. Saved me a few times.
