Will wife benefit from a tablet

After exhausting picture canvases, perfumes, jewelery and vouchers. I'm stumped as to what to get wife for Christmas.
She currently uses her phone to browse Internet and Facebook which has a 4.2 inch screen.
We do not have a TV in the bedroom and she sometime moans when my sons and I are watching sport on main TV.
I don't want to waste our money on any old tat.
So although she hasn't mention it, do you think she would benefit from a tablet and if so which one?
Budget around £150.

If she likes browsing and possibly the odd game then she'll love a tablet.
Got my Mrs an iPad last year and now she's lost without it. You'd be surprised at how quick you get used to relying on something you never thought you needed.

Tablets are great, have a look on the johnlewis website, if you don't like the tablet you can always return it,
both the Huawei Mediapad T5 and Samsung Galaxy tab a both 10.1 inch screens are in budget, but as always the more money you spend the better the tablet.
