New processor, slightly thinner bezels compared to the S4 but same overall resolution, and a added dual lens. Not bad. It remains to be seen if the magnetic S Pen is practical - how does it work with a case? Cut outs?
Oddly, the battery is smaller than the S4 (7040 v 7300) but both have fast charging.
No 3.5mm headphone socket too. A tablet is where i wouldn't miss a headphone socket, but confirmation that Samsung will push ahead with removing the 3.5mm socket.
While the S Pen gets a new fancy Bluetooth tricks (similar to the Note 9) both the S4 and S6 have '4096 points of pressure sensitivity' - Not much of a upgrade. (Although the S Pen will still be a great bit of kit). |
