Oculus store  version obviously is native, steam version is getting the update too, though it does sound like steamVR only.

I will never understand why some devs do that.... they clearly have the code inplace so why not keep it for the steam version (as well as steamVR of course).

hopefully it is just poor communication. DR1 supported the rift properly on steam.

How do you get the DLC on Oculus Store?

I dont know this so would not buy blindly, but i would guess it is the deluxe edition on the oculus store so no need for DLC.  I will ask.

So it seems the game on the oculus store is the standard edition......
However because the oculus version proper supports the rift instead of steanVR it would seem to run much better than the steam one. I still dunno about MP but for single player the oculus store seems the one to get. Maybe they will patch in proper rift support

Is it definitely the standard edition? If that’s the case I’ll wait until they include one with all content or Steam supports the Rift SDK. I’d prefer the latter since all my racing games are on steam but I can wait, I bought kartkraft and still haven’t started PCars 2, rFactor 2, Automobilista or ACC properly yet beyond a few hotlaps and I’ve already got Automobilista 2 pre-order. All the games and no time to play!

Indeed. I have not even looked at AC2 yet only put 5 or so in pcars2 and dirt rally 1. Hell not even looked at the dlc I got for assetto Corsa 1 2 years back.
Wont be buying dirt rally 2 any time soon. I am done buying VR titles purely to support the Devs as just not enough time esp with Devs who hostorically have not been that good with their VR titles (dirt rally was good tho will give them that)

I will wait until a Steam sale before buying it.
It was included in the last sale and was very cheap too, but I am in no rush to play as I am still having a blast with ACC.

I checked this out on steam and it says it supports Vive but having recently got an Index I saw it’s not supported so wondered if this would follow or is it just Rift and Vive only

anyone know how to stop it launching VR? auto boots oculus and steam vr when i just want to play normally.
