Why do you want to delete your progress?

I’ve done over 75 hours in this game now. It just goes on and on and on. Lol

I’ve got a great ship with over 30 slots buts it’s never enough there’s that much to collect. I got a new Multitool tonight too. More slots than I need. It’s a huge rifle.

I get around 100,000 for scanning a new species of animal and I’ve now accumulated 13,000,000 in cash.

I need a bigger frigate but some cost as much as 40,000,000. Not quite there yet.

The comfort of the Index makes it easy to stay in this game for 5 hours at a time without the need to for breaks. I only stop because of life commitments.

I love this game....... for me it is not quite elite in terms of addiction but if it was not for real life getting in the way i think it could do.   those with VR and even a passing interest it is simply a must buy imo. still not managed to put any time into it since the weekend.

i was offered a multitool from an alien which seemed an upgrade so i bought it, and it didnt have a terrain manipulator on it.................. and with no blue prints to make one i had to reload an old save.

Hmmm isn’t it the case that if you’ve had it once you’ve always got it? You just need to rebuild it?

Watch this.

will check out when i get home.... you are likely correct, the game is quite overwhelming coming into it totally new.  In that respect it is a bit like Elite D.  Thanks for the info, i should have kept the new device then as it was a significant improvmeent... hopefully i will find more.

i never thought about checking if it was simply a matter of making another one.

Next time before you switch Multi tools you need to disassemble all the upgrades on your current tool that way you have the resources when you rebuild the new one. I did this myself last night but because I was chocka with other stuff I did loose some wiring looms. You need a frigate for extra storage which is free at some point.

Another tip is build a signal booster on every planet you visit as it will show you buildings to visit.

One thing I missed at the start is the Atlas pass card. I’ve gone over 70 without it. Apparently you get that near the beginning.

Has anyone tried this...

Atlas Pass v1 - The v1 Pass is generally used to unlock one thing in post-NEXT update No Man's Sky: storage containers. You'll find these dotted around (in our experience there's one right next to your crashed ship at the start of the game, and then the odd one inside the occasional building on a planet's surface).Or this...

Atlas Pass v1 blueprint was given to us as one of his on-the-spot rewards after completing the second Milestone quest he gave us. The Atlas Pass v1 itself is crafted with 80 Copper (mined from resource veins on planet surfaces) and a Microprocessor (bought from vendors).

I am keeping eyes peeled. I am walking a fine line, trying to get bits of advice but at the same time not reading too many spoilers .  I had a dabble last night and made my 1st proper hyperspace jump. All fueled up ready for another jump but had to call it a night. Apparently there is a bug where it is really cheap to upgrade your exosuit which is now fixed in the beta. I don't like exploits but for those who don't care it may be of interest.

I am finding inventory management annoying I am constantly having to dump stuff I can't carry . I need a new ship. I believe the game gives me one soon
