some games use an awful lot of temp space, my VRChat cache was 60 gigs last time I cleaned it out. That is coming to Quest but I`m not sure when.

I guess stored media and Netflix downloads could take up a bit of space. I`m happy with 64gig with the possibility of updating it somehow in the future should need be. Especially when you consider a 64gig usb3 stick can be picked up for £12 these days

boggles me why they didnt allow user expansion.
Samsung 128gb is around £20 - hell, if you are prepared to take a punt this is £10 and feedback seems to be they are genuine

yes oculus make more profit, but surely, they would make more sales if user upgradeable - I know memory upgradable devices i always go for over none upgradeable - even though i have never actually bothered upgrading!.

lol and after looking at that, i have just changed that and ordered some cards to upgrade my phones

damn, just learned quest does not work well outside, at least at the moment.  i hope they can tweak that because if not that is any interest i had in it gone. (5m30s in)

Anything relying on infrared will be blinded by sunlight and not work outside. You might get the HMD to track, but the controllers will almost certainly be unusable. Not sure how they could solve that tbh.

I've bit the bullet and ordered one from Amazon. I've had my Rift since launch and have been happy with it. Think this will be a good "inbetweener" until the next gen rift comes out, if it ever does. plus, Amazon customer service is pretty good, If i ever have a "I've made a mistake" moment.

Hoping it will look good on films too.

This will prob be the best way to show off VR to friends.
