Plex & Nas

Hi just put Plex on my Synology drive
Updated Plex manually
It loaded my library,all good
Then Plex says drive unavailable
Even thou my Mac can see it and it's working fine..please help

Just to be sure, have you installed plex server to the nas, not plex client

When you open Plex, on your nas, does it open a webpage?
for example 192.168.x.x:32400/web/index.html#

you have you added the library, what client are you using

I have plex media server installed it says
But it does not take me anywhere when I click on it

Using your pc/mac On your nas, on the main page, click on the Plex icon, it should open the webpage

Or go to packages, & check the plex is running

thnx it did say stopped, so I started it, said running, but still said unavailable on flex..

I have just set my plex icon, to run, I then click on the plex icon on the main page, this opens up a webpage, does yours?

Have you installed the correct package for your model of nas, from the plex download page?

so from here, select server, then synology, download package.

on your nas, install the package manually, browse to the package, & install.

thnx ive deleted plex and tried to do what you say but it won't let me manually upload, says it conflicting? but I have a flex media server icon in packages so am downloading that, within the nas

after uninstalling plex, reboot the nas.

then under packages, on right manual install, browse to your pc mac, & install
