Hi,
I'm hoping to get some clarification on a couple things. I'm getting some IP CCTV cameras installed and they'll be viewed using some software running on a server. If I install Openvpn server on the same machine and use port forwarding from my modem/router to a single port on the server is this a secure way of opening up my home network? I'd be using something like dyndns too.
All I need is remote access to the server from a couple of mobiles and my work laptop.
Finally I have a hub connected to my modem/router then everything else is connected to that hub including Nest, Hue etc. I just want to make sure I'm not opening up the whole network by having everything connected to the hub.
Thanks for getting this far! |
