It's by no means a universal standard, but often a "lit" lamp means the connection is "up" and a blinking one means there's some data being transmitted.
If everything else on your network is working OK, then it would suggest the problem is with the receiver.
You might try giving receiver a static IP address (ie one you assign manually on the device itself) rather than using DHCP to do it automatically. Consult the manual for how to do that and we can give you some guidance as to how to determine what IP address to use.
If it still doesn't work, then it would seem to imply there is a problem with either the receiver, the network cable between receiver and router (previous test would suggest that's not the case) or the port you are using on your router (you could try a different one.) |
