Oh sorry, I wrongly assumed you were using it on a FTTC (VDSL2) line. For adsl you should be ok as the DLM on adsl lines is less aggressive than vdsl2 lines. Yes you can still use the DSL-AC68U on a FTTP line by putting in 'router' mode, ie switching off the DSL component. On a FTTP line you use a ONT (think of it as a fibre 'modem') so if its Openreach FTTP you'll be getting, then you will get a separate ONT installed and you simply hook up the router to the ONT and set up a PPPoE connection on it.
