3840x2160 is four times the amounts of pixels as 1920x1080 and takes almost four times the processing power to render, so you're after a card 3-4x as powerful as you'd buy for FHD.
You don't say what sort of games you play, but if it's the latest and most demanding you're after the most powerful cards out there. I believe top of the range at the moment are the Vega 64 on AMD side (now that demand has died down sufficiently that they're actually obtainable) and the GTX 1080 & 1080ti on the nVidia side. |
