Hello,
My desktop PC (HP Omen 870 series) started producing popping noise since the clean installation of the OS (Windows 10) couple of days ago.
I uninstalled/reinstalled soundcard driver (Realtek), disabled video card related sound options (Nvidia HDMI audio), set minimum processor 100%, disabled sound effects, turned off exclusive mode.
And LatencyMon analysis says one or more DCP routines that belong to a driver execute for too long, that's why there are drop outs, clicks and pops. It also says it could be related to network related, wlan, power management, CPU throttling.
Wlan is turned off, no cpu throttling as far as I can detect, I also turned off powersave mode or whatever in BIOS.
Yet the popping noise persists.
Any solution would be highly appreciated, thank you. |
