Just completed my build but on startup it appears to be booting then after about 30 seconds it restarts then just repeats the same process.

It’s a Asrock X570 Taichi motherboard
3900x cpu
Vengeance 32gb 3200mhz ram
5700 XT GPU

Thanks in advance

The motherboard should work 'as is' without a BIOS update. Try booting with one stick of RAM and swap them round if no difference. What PSU are you using? it looks as though you need a high power PSU with an 8/4pin CPU power lead, check your temps and the CPU fan is working. If needed remove and reseat the CPU,

Before I try your other suggestions, when you say ‘you need a high power PSU with an 8/4pin CPU power lead’ did you mean to plug power leads from the PSU to the 8 pin socket and the 4 pin socket on the motherboard? Because I am just using the 8 pin socket. If that makes sense.

The motherboard should work with one or the other, but it suggests you need a fairly decent PSU 700W  as the voltage regulators are rated at 60A

It’s a Corsair RM850x so should be plenty powerful enough. I’ve just added the additional 4 pin to the motherboard and tried with only 1 stick of ram and the problems still there.

Oh I should have said the motherboard has a 2 digit display showing “10”. I’ve checked the manual and online and can’t find any information as to what it means.

Errors 1-54 relate to memory.

ASRock > FAQ

Make sure you're using the correct memory slots and clear the CMOS.

@Sloppy Bob & @DavidG1 you nailed it!

There is a fault with the memory. A mate kindly bought the memory out of his pc over and it worked immediately. Been running nearly 14 hours and hasn’t missed a heart beat!

Contacted Amazon who I bought it from and they said they will issue a replacement. Could be here as early as tomorrow. Happy days!

All I need now is a half decent monitor. May start another thread asking for suggestions.

Thanks again
